Anime Figures

I grew up watching anime such as Speed Racer, Astro Boy, and later Princess Knight. While I enjoyed anime throughout the 1990s, it wasn't until a trip to Japan in 2022—and the purchase of a Kurumi Tokisaki figure—that I discovered figure photography.

Please enjoy this collection of images. All figures are my own, except for Kaori from Your Lie in April. The photographs are mine; the characters belong to their respective creators.

My figure photography explores both character portraiture and visual storytelling. Anime Portraits focuses on expression, detail, and the personality each figure brings, while Atmosphere & Narrative leans into mood, setting, and the quiet stories created through light, shadow, and composition.
